
As per the most recent study done by International SOS, the most unsecured countries are listed as Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Iraq, Libya and Mali. To classify a country as an unsecured one, International SOS use different criteria including political violence, terrorism, social unrest and so on.
Afghanistan
The most recent news has already announced that Afghanistan has been under arrested by Taliban terrorists. Due to, the resident people also try to migrate from own country. Apart from terrorism, Afghanistan is listed as unsafe at least to visit because of kidnappings and hostage takings. Among most of kidnapping cases, Afghan kidnappers were aimed at U.S. citizens. Thereby, on 31st of August U.S. Embassy withdrew their operations from Kabul. Further, Afghanistan is a place where lots of suicide bombers are active. Widespread military combat operations, rebel attacks using magnetic or other explosive devices are also being a reason to categorize Afghanistan as unsecured country.

Central African Republic
With the current global pandemic, International SOS categorized Central African Republic as an unsecured country. According to the most recent news, their COVID 19 spread is too much fast. Other than this health unsafe, Central Africa is suffering with violent and crimes. Most of large areas in Central African Republic are governed by armed groups. Therefore, kidnaps are taking places almost every day. They kidnap civilians, injure and murder them. And also, these armed groups do robbery which indicates even the roads in Central African Republic is not safe. Homicide is also a common in Central Africa. Henceforth, they are recognized as one of the most unsecured country in the world.

Iraq
The major issue with Iraq is the volatility of their security system. According to the latest updates, Iraq has ongoing kidnap cases, murder cases. Those kidnappers either be terrorists or armed gang. These criminal gangs kidnap people like journalists, academics and other workers. Around last few years they have killed almost 1000s of people. These criminal attacks are happening all of sudden. There is no prior warning. That is the risk. In addition, frauds are very common in Iraq. In most cases they are introducing themselves as government officers or other recognized person. Other than these criminal situations, Iraq is in danger with health also. COVID 19 is the major problem but borne diseases with insects are also common there. Due to these, International SOS names Iraq as unsecured country to live.

Libya
As other countries, Libya also a country which has high volume of violence. As well their political instability retains them as unsafe. Starting from April 2019, armed forces are growing up in Libya. Up until April 2020, there were about 3000 deaths. Due to these violence and fragility of political situation, Libya has shortages of food, water, fuel etc. Over 1.3 million people are expecting humanitarian aids because of this lack of food. Some of them are dying due to starving for long time. Crimes in Libya are also high. Even in roads lots of people face danger. Carjacking, kidnapping, robbery, are most common in there. That’s why Libya is unsafe to live.

Mali
Intensified political climate is the major issue in Mali. Other than this, as above countries high volume of violence is also reported in Mali too. The public holidays, places where foreigners visit, peacemakers are the major targets of Mali’s criminal gangs. And, there are cyber-crimes too. These criminalists build fake friendship with people via internet, start dating and ask them to marry and then kidnap those people in order to grab their money. There are lots of such cases in Mali. Apart from these, during June to September, Mali is having extreme natural disasters like flood. There are lack of foods and loss of habitats etc. then. Therefore, Mali is place where you shouldn’t try to live.
